This policy explains how the Bakery Pricing Planner app and the productpriceplanner.com website handle your information. Both are made by Price Planner Team ("we", "us"). If you have any questions, email nkpatnis@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- What you enter in the app, such as ingredients, recipes, prices, orders (including any customer details you add) and your settings. This is stored on your device.
- Account information, if you choose to sign in with Google: your name, email address and basic Google profile, plus a copy of your app data so it can sync between your devices. Signing in is optional.
- Usage and device information. The app uses Google services for analytics, notifications and ads, which collect information such as how the app is used, device details and device identifiers (including the advertising ID). This doesn't include your recipes, prices or customer details.
- On our website, we use analytics to understand visits. If you join the iPhone waitlist, we keep your email address to tell you when it's available. The price calculator runs in your browser and doesn't send us your numbers.
How we use it
To run the app and sync your data, send reminders and notifications you've allowed, show ads that keep the app free, understand and improve the app and website, keep them secure, and reply when you contact us.
Sharing
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted service providers that help us run the app and website, such as Google (Firebase, AdMob and Analytics) and our hosting providers, or when the law requires it.
Ads
The app shows ads from Google AdMob. Where required, the app asks for your consent first, and you can change your choice in More → Privacy Options. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your Android settings. Learn more about how Google uses this information.
How long we keep it, and security
We keep information only as long as we need it: data on your device until you delete it, synced data until you delete your cloud data or account, and waitlist emails until we've let you know about the iPhone version. We use encryption in transit and reasonable safeguards to protect your information. Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live.
Your choices and rights
- Use the app without an account. Everything except sync works without signing in.
- Export your data any time with More → Backup Data.
- Turn notifications off in More → Notifications, and manage ads as described above.
- Ask us to access, correct or delete your information by emailing nkpatnis@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under local law, and you won't be treated differently for using them.
Deleting your account and data
Bakery Pricing Planner by Price Planner Team
- Synced data: in the app, go to More → Account & Sync and tap Delete cloud data. It's removed within 30 days, and signing in again before then restores it.
- Your whole account: email nkpatnis@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account" from the address you sign in with. We'll delete your account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
- Data on your phone: uninstall the app or clear its storage in Android settings.
Children
The app and website are made for adults and aren't directed to children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update this page and the date above.
